Two men charged with series of thefts in Wigan

Two men have been charged with a series of theft offences in Wigan.

Matthew Fillingham, aged 34, of Foundry Wood Close, and 21-year-old Scott Kelly of Montford Rise, have both both charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.

The offences are alleged to have occurred between 26 October 2025 and 28 November 2025 and mainly involved jewellery items being stolen, as well as a vehicle.

The charges have been brought after an investigation by the Wigan Neighbourhood Crime Team in connection with 21 burglaries and eight attempted burglaries.

Both men will appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court today (04/12/2025).
