Performers sought for Wigan Pride 2026 main stage

Performers from the LGBTQ+ community across the North West are being invited to apply for a place on the main stage at Wigan Pride 2026.

Organisers have confirmed that applications are now open for the Unity Stage, which is sponsored by Calisen. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 8 August, with selected acts set to perform alongside professional headline artists who are yet to be announced.

Wigan Pride has previously featured a range of established names, including Danny Beard, Sonia, Baga Chipz, Kelly Llorenna and The Cheeky Girls. The event continues to provide a platform for both emerging and experienced performers.

Applicants are required to submit their stage name, links to relevant social media profiles, and a video of a recent live performance. Submissions should be sent by email to info@wiganpride.com, using the subject line “Entertainment Wigan Pride 2026”.

Organisers have stated that applicants should identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. They have also encouraged those with connections to the Wigan borough to include details of this in their application.

The closing date for submissions is Thursday, 30 April 2026.
