Mayor of Wigan's Charity Walk

A walk supporting two local charities is taking place at Haigh Woodland Park this month.

The Mayor of Wigan’s Charity Walk 2025 has been organised for Saturday, 11 January, starting from the Stables Courtyard.

Participants should arrive at 10:45am ready for the walk to start at 11:00am.  Walkers will return at around 1:00pm.

The family-friendly walk includes a guided tour of the grounds and the history of Haigh and it's wonderful woodland park.

Tickets are priced at £10 per adult, with a family ticket available for £25.

All proceeds from the event will support Wigan and Leigh Hospice in Hindley, and Talk First who provide family mediation.
