Battle of the Bands: Get Involved!

Live music is coming to the heart of the borough as Leigh Library hosts Wigan Borough Libraries’ first-ever Battle of the Bands on 13 March 2026. This exciting new event will showcase local talent, bringing together bands, music fans, and industry judges for an evening of high-quality live performances.

Battle of the Bands 2026 is open to local bands looking for an opportunity to perform on a public stage, gain exposure, and be judged by an expert panel. The event celebrates grassroots music and aims to support emerging artists across Wigan Borough, highlighting the strength of the local music scene.

Leigh Library will be transformed into a vibrant live music venue for the night, offering audiences the chance to discover new bands and enjoy an evening of original sound and performance. Whether you are a performer or a music lover, this is set to be a standout cultural event in the local calendar.
